Musical Dialogues without Borders
In the mid-18th century, Central Europe boasted a great musical diversity. Renowned violin virtuosos and composers such as Antonio Vivaldi, Francesco Veracini, and Giuseppe Tartini were
active in Prague around the same period. The program will also feature a selection of works by the until recently almost unknown composer Johann Georg Orsler, a native of Silesia, whose
original and diverse music certainly stands up to the works of he Italian masters.
