Fruit of Love
The ensemble of Renaissance and Baroque recorders Il bosco di flauti (The Forest of Flutes) is composed of current students of the Pilsen Conservatory under the artistic direction of Julie
Braná. During the 20 years since its foundation, the ensemble has performed at numerous concerts in the Czech Republic and abroad and has repeatedly won the first prize at the Teplice Conservatory Chamber Ensembles Competition. In 2023 they commemorated the 400th anniversary of the death of the English Renaissance composer William Byrd. On this occasion, the
ensemble performed his Fantasia no. 2, as well as the composition In Anticipation of Byrd by the German composer Nicola Termöhlen, which she dedicated to Il bosco di flauti.
