Concert on the 25th anniversary of the Czech-German Future Fund
The Czech-German Future Fund Foundation celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. Since its inception, this significant institution has supported more than 13,000 Czech-German projects in the fields of education, culture and social life and has distributed nearly EUR 75 million in funding among them. In the unique setting of the Prague Crossroads (the former St. Anne's Church), it will feature Johann Sebastian Bach's Orchestral Overture in C major and Antonio Vivaldi's Concerto in G minor. The orchestra will also be joined by one of the world's leading countertenors, Benno Schachtner. In his performance, the audience will hear one of the Lamentations of the Prophet Jeremiah by Jan Dismas Zelenka and Vivaldi's cantata "Cessate, omai cessate". Don't miss the unique atmosphere of this festive event!
